Wow

Man alive!  What a week…or should I say three days!  Who would have thought one could jam so much into such a short period!  Well, its been done, I’m tired but so so happy!  Fill in time!

So, firstly, we finally moved out of our beloved Beach Shack on Oceanview Street and into our dream home on Dooley Street!  It was a MASSIVE couple of days but with much help, plenty of hustle and grit, we got it done.  We are almost unpacked but man, wild times!  The new house is incredible and the result of about 20years blood sweat and tears.  We feel so blessed and fortunate to have worked our asses off to afford such a house in a little piece of paradise.  So so stoked.  Thank you to every one of you that helped us move, pack, clean and everything else!  Amazing, you are loved forever!  This is our forever house and cant wait to truly make it our own.

Secondly, I ticked off my 150th visit to the Hummock for the year.  It has been a quest of mine and originally at the start of the year set the goal at 100.  I smashed that out of the park, have run every single one of them (none of them have I driven there and trained) and I feel this is just another example of repetition providing beauty in and through the process.  I love that little hill, the experiences I have had on the way there and back and on the massive summit.  It really is my favourite run ever.  Familiarity provides specialness in a unique way.  It's a small hill, but it’s my hill.

Lastly, after being short-listed twice, speeches, interviews and six years of hard work, Pria was announced as School Captain of Bargara State School for 2021.  We are so very proud of her and couldn't be more amazed and in awe of the young woman she is becoming everyday.  It only seems like yesterday she was born and now, moving into her last year at primary school.  Pria, we love you so very much and it is a privilege to be your parents.  You will do an incredible job as school captain and we can’t wait to see you flourish and lead your peers with pride.  Much love beautiful girl.

So, yeah, that all has happened over the last three days.  Insanity.  All whilst keeping my streak alive for my first Cross Country challenge.  Currently, I am on Day 79 of running a minimum of half marathon a day.  Routine in the chaos, no excuses and plain old hard work.  Getting. It. Done!

Well, that's about as much energy I have for writing currently friends.  I hope and pray this finds you well, getting yourself ready for Christmas and crushing your own goals.  Much love.
