Bossin!
19/3 - What up my friends!? First up, sorry for not posting last week! Our laptop has been on the blink and it was in getting fixed. It still has some work to be done but I have it intermittently so blog on I will! Hope this finds you all well and lovin life! So, the last two weeks has been amazing! Training has been going super well with weeks of 136km and 137km with tyre drags, stepper sessions, trail and speed work all thrown in. The race is now only 18days away and I am feeling the best mentally and physically than I think I have EVER felt before a race. I am FROOTHING in nearly every training session and cannot wait for Down Under 135. This is going to be a MASSIVE undertaking but I am ready! This week is going to be a MONSTER with potentially in excess of 170km of some hard work…and then the taper begins. I am so pumped! Bring it on. My training for this race overall has been solid. The most important thing though is that my head has been in such a good place and I am mentally so focused on getting the job done on the 6th of April. I am really looking forward to the road trip, hanging out and then working freaking hard for 40-55hours. YES! It feels so incredibly good to be back training like old days, eating super well and in a good routine again! Life truly has returned to some level of normality thank goodness! As previously stated, last year was ROUGH and to be back in a good place again just makes me so incredibly happy! Thanks for taking this ride with me friends!
