Meanderings
Where we at? Well, its a guess but right here, right now. Things have been so busy lately I often times am not sure where I am. But all we can be is right here. Struggling, living, loving and doing our best.
The last few months since getting back from Japan have been pretty hectic. A couple of run challenges (one successful, one halted abruptly due to heat stroke, that was a new sensation!), lots of work, spoke at St Lukes Sports dinner, a trip south to see Tegs parents and a stop over in Yamba. That place still has my heart. Loads of training, trying to parent as best I can and maintain some sort of normality in the household and businesses. We have had a couple of interested parties in buying the shop but no love as of yet. Keep on trying. Some days are crazy, some days are chill. Either way is lovely.
Further, I can not believe it is November…nearly the END of November. I really don’t feel ready for Christmas and the year to be nearly done. I am going to have another attempt at the ‘mile a day add on’ challenge through December and also try and get hyped for the holidays to come. It would be incredible and a dream Christmas present if we could sell the shop before the fat man in a red suit arrives, but Im not holding my breath. I have some big plans for next year and well see how things play out. Regardless, it will be an adventure that is for sure!
Reading, the beach, coffee (always coffee), jobs, running the kids around, naps when I can, new piercings and all the good things. Life is 100% getting lived. The way it should. This year is set to be my biggest running year ever and a five/six year block of incredible consistency. Blessed for that.
Otherwise, we smash on. Time waits for no man and if I don’t stay on the train, it will leave without me. I don’t want to miss out. Together, lets embrace the last few days of November and the first month of December, the last of 2024. Life is short people, lets make it count. Long time dead. Consistency + Commitment. Peace.
