Friends

One of the super cool things that has occurred as a result of having coffee shops is the friends I have made. There sure are a lot that come and go, however, some are truly special and you remember for a lifetime. Yesterday, a couple of those friends left. Good friends. And its super sad.

The bonds I have formed with people through owning The Journey are invaluable. I hold these people close and never want to take them for granted. We have laughed, we have cried and we have done life together. Everyday contact, the telling of stories, the sharing of hardships and the celebrating of life and commonalities are beautiful. These relationships are maybe the best things that have occurred due to opening business.

Whilst it is always sad to see people go, we always hope and pray they are moving on to bigger and better things. Life progressions. We hope to stay in touch with the close ones and remember the time spent. Precious snippets of time.

Thank you to everyone who has come to the shop, who have opened themselves up to become friends…you are everything. To Dale and Kylie, we wish you all the best and send so much love and blessing for your future. Go get em tigers.
